Day Tours

As each and every traveller is unique, so, too, are their travel requirements. There will never be an ideal duration, a specific combination of destinations or fixed price tag that suits every traveller or travelling party.

Luckily, tailoring South Africa tours to complement your particular needs is something of a speciality for us.

Hartbeespoort Cableway

The Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway extends to the top of the Magaliesberg and offers panoramic views of the Magaliesberg, Hartbeespoort Dam and the surrounding area. Enjoy a delicious lunch with a breathtaking view.

The first Harties Aerial Cableway was constructed in 1973. The aerial cableway was a top visitor attraction for overseas travellers and local residents, and became a popular paragliding and hang gliding destination. By 2005 the cableway had fallen into a state of disrepair, and was closed.

Soweto and Apartheid Museum Tour

Visit World famous Landmarks such as the Baragwanath Precinct, the Hector Pietersen Museum and the Mandela House Museum.

The Mandela house is filled with many interesting memorabilia pertaining to the South African liberation icon. Take a walk down Vilakazi Street to see Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s house. Vilakazi Street is the only street in the world that has produced two Nobel Peace Prize winners (Nelson Mandela & Desmond Tutu).

After your experience in Soweto you will be taken to the Apartheid Museum which opened in 2001 and is acknowledged as the pre-eminent museum in the world dealing with 20th century South Africa, at the heart of which is the apartheid story.

Ann van Dyk De Wildt Cheetah Centre

The Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre in South Africa was established in 1971, as a cheetah conservation project. The centre has continued to perform an important role in the preservation and protection of cheetahs and has bred over eight hundred cheetah cubs.

Today the Centre can be proud of the work being done to ensure the survival of acinonyx jubatus – the cheetah, successfully breeding these magnificent animals, including the famous King Cheetah in captivity.

Cullinan Premier Diamond Mine Tour

Cullinan earned its place in history with the discovery of the Cullinan diamond in 1905, the largest rough gem diamond ever found at 3,106 carats, which was cut to form the two most important diamonds in the British Crown Jewels.

The exceptional peace of this unique and almost supernatural view of the world will forever remain as a truly cherished memory.
